13.10.09 It is with the greatest of sadness that I must put this post. My beloved husband, Brian, passed away suddenly on 18th August 2009 from a massive heart attack. He was the nicest person I have ever met in my entire life and my life will never be the same again without him. I am coping and managing to move forward with my life although it is very difficult. May his soul RIP.

14.06.09 Hi everyone! Just to let you all know that I was frozen out of my Hotmail account for about a year and did not get any of your emails. I got a new computer (which for some reason now lets me into Hotmail) and finally managed to get into it today and view all the emails - so to those of you who sent me emails and I did not respond - my humblest apologies. I have since closed my Hotmail account.

I did put my new email address on the Homepage months ago - gabriwen7@gmail.com but many people seem to have missed it.

A question many of you asked was why I have not been updating my website? It is because we have very slow internet connections here and for many months mine was running at 16.8kbps, which made internet access impossible. Then for a long period of time, we had no internet connection at all. I now have a new modem which connects to the internet via a mobile phone signal and seem to be up and running alright now. Once I have installed the web-making software onto my new computer, I will try and update the sight more often.

Many of you have also asked about my father. He is fine, thanks very much, and nothing has changed in our lives here in Maun since I last wrote about it. We have all just got a bit older!! ;-)
